Another Change in Plans for Saint Kotar
Kickstarter campaign and playable game demo are delayed again
On April 15, 2018, I posted a piece entitled Launch of Saint Kotar’s Kickstarter Campaign Has Been Delayed. At that time, developer Tanais Games was hoping for a May or June target date.
This has been pushed back again. The Kickstarter campaign is ready to rock, but the playable demo is being overhauled. Releasing the demo in tandem with the Kickstarter campaign will enable players to get a feel for what they’ll be backing.
In Saint Kotar, players are invited to attend an exhibition of medieval artifacts in Sveti Kotar at the end of October 2006. They’re greeted with a cold reception, however, and are confronted with a macabre series of murders that could be tied to devil worship and witchcraft. This leads to something “deeply hidden behind the town’s dark past.”
More info about Tanais’ progress and plans for the future is located here. The screenshots above are from the demo, which is subtitled The Yellow Mask. It can currently be wishlisted on Steam.
