The Sexy Brutale: Full House Edition Arrives April 11th – February 20, 2017

From Cavalier Game Studios and Tequila Works, The Sexy Brutale is a 3D puzzle murder mystery adventure with a touch of the occult that takes place at a masked ball in the mansion/casino of a mysterious Marquis. It features murder, intrigue, a cast of exotic characters and a story that unfolds in real-time.

As elderly priest Lafcadio Boone, you discover that staff members are murdering guests. You also notice that the same day is happening over and over. The only way you can escape is to hide, spy on other guests and find key moments where you might be able to save their lives.

So get ready to explore a single day from different perspectives and locations. Visit multiple areas of the mansion, each with its own scenario, characters and puzzles. Experience a darkly humorous murder mystery. Acquire special powers that will enable you to uncover the secret at the heart of The Sexy Brutale.

A retail edition of the game is now available exclusively for PS4. It comes with an Original Soundtrack CD and exclusive Game Manual. However, according to publisher Badland Indie, the manual that shipped has a printing error. More information, including options for replacement manuals, can be found here. Retailer links can be found here.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
