Telltale Releases Full Launch Trailer for The Walking Dead – A New Frontier
A special two-episode Season 3 premiere — Ties That Bind Parts I and II — will debut beginning December 20th
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Extended First Look – December 2, 2016
In Season 3, players will control series newcomer Javier, who struggles to keep his family together, as well as Clementine, who is now a teenager.
Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO, Telltale Games: This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One. As a harrowing and horrific drama, ‘A New Frontier’ will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what’s left of humanity itself.
Kevin Boyle, Executive Producer: When we began this series, we explored what it meant to protect a character like Clementine at all costs. Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his – both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society’s collapse.
On December 20th, two of the season’s five episodes will premiere digitally on PC worldwide via the Telltale Online Store, Steam and other digital outlets; and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4. The episode will be available the same day for compatible iOS devices on the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices on Google Play. Release dates for additional platforms will be announced shortly.
Season 3 can be pre-ordered now; PS4 digital preorders will receive a complimentary copy of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne. Steam users will receive a discount of 10% for preordering.
When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier?
