The Talos Principle Review – March 30, 2015

The award-willing first-person puzzler The Talos Principle will get a sweeping expansion on July 23rd for PC, Mac and Linux.

The DLC will consist of four episodes that will return players to a strange, hidden part of the simulation as Uriel, Elohim’s messenger, on a mission of mercy and redemption. They will face the most advanced puzzles yet as they go about freeing souls who are trapped there.

Tom Jubert, co-writer of The Talos Principle: “We wanted to revisit the world of The Talos Principle and deliver new characters and a new world with its own history and culture. With Road to Gehenna we have created an all-new narrative which both branches off from and expands the original character’s journey.”

Look for The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna to arrive on Steam July 23rd for PC, Mac and Linux. The original game along with its expansion will launch later in the year for PlayStation 4 and Nvidia Shield platforms.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
