4.1. Part I Item List

BAG OF NICKELS
The nickels are Found in the cargo hold of LeChuck’s ship. They are used with
the gumball machine in the ship in the swamp in part II.

CUTLASS
After Guybrush has used the cannon to shoot the pirate boats, the cutlass is
found by using the gaff with the debris in the water.

GAFF
Made by combining the plastic hook with the ramrod. It is used to pick up the
cutlass from the debris in the water after shooting the pirate boats.

HELIUM BALLOONS
The balloons are available at the start of the game. They are combined with
the paperweight after Guybrush falls in the Quicksand in part II. It can be
popped by using the pea shooter.

PIRATE LITERATURE
Found by talking to Wally in the cannon room. It is not used.

PLASTIC HOOK
After Wally is convinced that he’s a failure as a pirate, he will drop the
hook on the floor. It is combined with the ramrod to create the gaff.

RAMROD
Found on the wall of the cannon room in the ship. It is combined with the
plastic hook to create the gaff.

RING
Found under the bag of nickels in the cargo hold. Guybrush gives the ring to
Elaine in the cutscene at the end of part I, which transforms her into a gold
statue. It is removed in part IV by using the hand lotion on her finger.

SKELETON ARM
After Guybrush has used the cannon to shoot the pirate boats, the skeleton
arm is found by using the gaff with the debris in the water.

BISCUIT
Found in the barrel in Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is given to the old dog
at the cemetery on Blood Island in part IV.

BISCUIT CUTTER
Found at the left side of Captain Blondebeard’s shop on Mega-monkey mode.

BOOK
Found by using the magic wand with the magic hat in the theater prop room. It
is used on LeChimp in the ship at Danjer Cove.

BOTTOMLESS MUG
Found by swapping the mug from Palido at Brimstone Beach with Kenny’s mug at
Puerto Pollo. It is returned to Palido.

CHEWED GUM
Made by chewing the pack of gum on Mega-monkey mode. It is combined with the
gold tooth in Captain Blondebeard’s shop to make the tooth in gum.

CHICKEN GREASE
Guybrush gets this in his inventory after he arrives in the kitchen of the
ship at Danjer Cove. It is used on the cannonballs in the theater prop room.

CLUB CARD
Found on the dish in Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is shown to the cabana
boy at Brimstone Beach to gain access to the beach.

COFFEE
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

COOKING OIL
After Guybrush has used the wet towel on the cabana boy at Brimstone Beach,
the oil is found in the hut. It is used on the map on Palido’s back.

DRY TOWELS
Found in the basket in front of the cabana boy’s hut on Brimstone Beach. They
are used with the ice bucket to make the wet towel and wet towels.

EMBER ON STICK
Found near the remains of the ship in the area with the fort. It is used with
the trail of rum on the grassy knoll in Puerto Pollo.

ENCYCLOPEDIA
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

FABERGE EGG
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

GLOVE
Found in the pirate coat in the theater prop room. It is used on Edward Van
Helgen in the Barbery Coast to challenge him to a duel.

GOLD TOOTH
Found by loosening Captain Blondebeard’s tooth and popping the bubble gum
balloon with the pin. It is shown to Cutthroat Bill in the Barbery Coast, and
is given to Stan in the insurance office in part IV.

HALF-EATEN MAGGOTY BISCUIT
Made by chewing the biscuit from Captain Blondebeard’s shop on Mega-monkey
mode. It is given to the old dog at the cemetery on Blood Island in part IV.

HOLLOW REED
Found in the quicksand. It is combined with the thorn to make the peashooter.

IPECAC FLOWER
Found by using the scissors on the flower outside Captain Blondebeard’s shop.
It is combined with the pancake syrup to make the syrup of ipecac.

JAWBREAKER
Found on the floor in the Barbery Coast. It is given to Blondebeard in his
shop at the left side of Puerto Pollo to loosen his gold tooth.

LICE
Found by looking at the dandruff on the pirate coat in the theater prop room.
They are used with the comb in the Barbery Coast.

MAGGOTS
Found by eating the biscuit in Mega-monkey mode. They are used with the gross
chicken in Captain Blondebeard’s shop to reveal the club card.

MAGIC WAND
Found on the table in the theater prop room. It is used with the magic hat in
the prop room to make the ventriloquism book appear.

MAP
Found by using the cooking oil on Palido’s back at Brimstone Beach. This is
one of the items needed to sail to Blood Island.

MUG
Found on Palido, the sunbather on Brimstone Beach. It is swapped with Kenny’s
bottomless mug at Puerto Pollo.

NATURALIST REMAINS
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. They are not used.

OLD PHONE BOOKS
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. They are not used.

PACK OF GUM
Found by using the bag of wooden nickels with the gumball machine in the ship
at the swamp. It is given to Captain Blondebeard in his shop.

PANCAKE SYRUP
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is used with the ipecac flower.

PANCAKES
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

PAPERWEIGHT
Found by using the handle at the side of the chair in the Barbery Coast. It
is combined with the helium balloons after Guybrush falls in the quicksand.

PASTE
Found on the floor in the fortune teller’s ship in the Mega-monkey mode.

PEA SHOOTER
Made by combining the hollow reed and the thorn. It is used to pop the helium
balloon in the quicksand area.

PIE PAN
Found at the left side of Captain Blondebeard’s shop on Mega-monkey mode.

PIN
Found in the doll on the floor in the fortune teller’s ship. It is used to
pop the balloon the Captain Blondebeard blows, and is combined with the cork
in part IV to make one of the items needed for the compass.

PISTOL
After Edward Van Helgen has been challenged to a duel, the pistol is found in
the gun case. It is used to shoot the Van Helgen’s banjo in the third round.

PITCHER
After Kenny realises that he has been tricked, the pitcher is found on the
table at his lemonade stall in Puerto Pollo. It is used with the red dye.

PITCHER WITH RED DYE
Made by using the pitcher with the red dye near Kenny’s lemonade stall. It is
given to Palido on Brimstone Beach.

RESERVATION SLIP
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is shown to Captain Blondebeard.

RUBBER PLUG
Found by using the biscuit cutter with the rubber tree at the bottom of the
grassy knoll in Mega-monkey mode. It is combined with the paste to make the
sticky rubber plug.

SAUSAGE
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

SCISSORS
After Haggis leaves the Barbery Coast to find a new paperweight, the scissors
are found by raising the barber chair to its highest point. They are used
with the mysterious flowers outside of Captain Blondebeard’s shop to get the
ipecac flower, and are then used with the undergrowth to find the snake area.

SERRATED BREAD KNIFE
Found in the back of Manny Calavera, the quiet patron in Captain Blondbeard’s
shop. It is used with the sawhorse on the grassy knoll, and is also used on
the plank of the pirate ship at Danjer Cove.

SPARE TIRE
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

STICKY RUBBER PLUG
Made by using the paste on the rubber plug in Mega-monkey mode. It is used on
the gaping hole in the boat at Danjer Cove.

STUFFED DINGHY DOG
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. It is not used.

SYRUP OF IPECAC
Made by combining the pancake syrup with the ipecac flower in the snake. It
is used on the snake head to exit the snake.

THORN
Found on the thorny plant in the quicksand. It is combined with the hollow
reed to make the pea shooter.

TOOTH IN GUM
Made by using the gold tooth with the chewed gum on Mega-monkey mode. After
inhaling from the helium balloon, it is chewed to make the gold tooth float
out of the window in Captain Blondebeard’s shop.

TOP-SECRET PLANS
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. They are not used.

TREASURE MAP
Found in the vase in the kitchen of the ship at Danjer Cove. It is used in
the theater lighting area to find the location of Elaine.

VACUUM CLEANER ATTACHMENTS
This is one of the items found inside the snake after cutting the undergrowth
near Captain Blondebeard’s shop. They are not used.

WET TOWEL
Made by using the dry towel on the ice bucket at Brimstone Beach. It is used
on the cabana boy to make him leave his hut.

WET TOWELS
Made by using the dry towels on the ice bucket at Brimstone Beach. They are
used to cross over the hot sand to the other side of the beach.

4.3. Part IV Item List

AUGER
Found on the small table in the village. It is used with the block of tofu to
make the tofu mask.

BLOCK OF TOFU
Found on the fruit table in the village. It is used with the auger to make
the tofu mask. It is also used on Guybrush to pass to the top of the volcano.

BOOK
After using all the nails on the bed in the right room on the second floor of
the hotel, the book is found on top of the skeleton. It is used to convince
Goodsoup into thinking that Guybrush is a member of his family.

BOTTLE
Found in the sand near the shipwreck. It is bitten in the inventory to get
the cork. It is used with the pie pan on Mega-monkey mode in part IV.

CHISEL
Found next to the carved tombstone near the old dog in the cemetery. It is
used to open the bottle of Head-B-Clear. It is used with the bottom-right
coffin in the crypt to get the coffin nails. It is used with the coffin in
the middle of the crypt to meet Stan. It is used on the wheel o’ cheese in
the hotel. It is also used with the jar lid.

COFFIN NAILS
Found by using the chisel on the bottom-right coffin in the crypt. They are
used with the bed in the right room on the second floor of the hotel.

CORK
Found by getting the bottle in the sand near the shipwreck. It is used with
the pin, the refrigerator magnet and the measuring cup to make the compass.

COMPASS
Made by combining the cork with the pin, the cork with the refrigerator
magnet, and the cork with the measuring cup. It is given to the mysterious
figure at the beach after the lighthouse has been lit.

COMPLETED DIAMOND RING
Made by combining the enormous diamond with the engagement band. It is given
to Elaine in the clearing near the shipwreck.

CROWBAR
Found in the coffin in the Goodsoup crypt. It is used on the boarded hole and
the bed in the right room on the second floor of the hotel.

CUSHION
Found on the bar stool in the hotel. It is used on the rocks on the beach to
catch the egg that drops from the rubber tree.

DEATH CERTIFICATE
After Guybrush has left the Goodsoup crypt, the certificate is found in the
room of the hotel with the wheel o’ cheese. After Guybrush has bought the
insurance policy, it is given to Stan to get the insurance money.

DOG HAIR
Found on the old dog in the cemetery. It is one of the three items given to
Goodsoup in the hotel.

EGG
Found by using the cushion on the rocks on the beach, then using the mallet
on the rubber tree. It is one of three items given to Goodsoup in the hotel.

EMPTY JAR
Found at the right side of the hotel bar. It is used with the barrel on the
windmill to fill it with water.

ENGAGEMENT BAND
After the bed in the hotel launches Charles toward the Goodsoup crypt, the
band can be found at the top of the steps in the crypt.

ENORMOUS DIAMOND
Found by winning the poker game on Skull Island. It is combined with the
engagement band to make the completed diamond ring.

FACE
Found by using the scissors with the portrait on the second floor of the
hotel. It is used with the mirror frame near the hotel bar after the mirror
has been taken.

HAND LOTION
Found by giving the cooking pot with the melted cheese to Haggis at the
shipwreck. It is used with the cursed diamond ring on Elaine’s finger.

HEAD-B-CLEAR
Goodsoup will give the Head-B-Clear to Guybrush after he has been cured of
his headache. It is used in any drink that Guybrush orders from the bar.

INSURANCE MONEY
After buying the insurance policy from Stan, the money is found by giving the
death certificate to Stan.

JAR LID
Found by getting the empty jar from the hotel bar. It is used with chisel,
and is then used on the lantern at the clearing.

JAR OF WATER
Found by using the empty jar with the barrel on the windmill. It is put on
the stump in the clearing to make the lantern.

LAMINATED BUSINESS CARD
Found after meeting Stan in the crypt. It is not used.

LANTERN
Found by using the skeleton arm on the lantern in Mort’s hut. It is combined
with Murray to scare Mort into opening the crypt.

LANTERN
Made by using the jar of water on the stump in the clearing. It is used with
the lantern post on the lighthouse.

MALLET
Found next to the carved tombstone near the old dog in the cemetery. It is
used with the rubber tree on the beach to get the egg. It is also used on the
nail in left room on the second floor of the hotel.

MEASURING CUP
Found on the small table in the village. It is combined with the cork to make
one of the items needed for the compass.

MIRROR
Found at the left side of the hotel bar. It is used with the mirror at the
top of the lighthouse.

MURRAY
Found at the left side of the Goodsoup crypt. He is combined with the lantern
to scare Mort into opening the crypt.

NAIL
After using the mallet on the nail in the left room on the second floor of
the hotel, the nail is found in the hall. It is used with the bed in the
right room on the second floor of the hotel.

PEPPER
Found on the plant at the right side of the windmill. It is one of the three
items given to Goodsoup in the hotel.

PORTRAIT
After the mallet has been used with the nail in the left room on the second
floor of the hotel, the portrait is found in the hall. It is used with the
scissors to get the face from the portrait.

RECIPE BOOK
Found on the bar in the hotel. It is read to provide instructions for curing
Goodsoup’s hangover.

REFRIGERATOR MAGNET
Found on the refrigerator in the room with the wheel o’ cheese in the hotel.
It is combined with the cork to make one of the items needed for the compass.

TAROT CARDS
Found by talking to the fortune teller in the hotel. They are used to win the
poker game on Skull Island.

TOFU MASK
Made by combining the auger with the block of tofu. It is used with Guybrush
to access to the top of the volcano.

UMBRELLA
Found by ordering a drink from the hotel bar. It is used when Guybrush falls
off the top of the cliff to enter the hideout on Skull Island.

UN-MELTED HUNK OF NACHO CHEESE
Found by using the chisel on the wheel o’ cheese in the hotel. It is thrown
into the top of the volcano.

WEAK HAND
Found by playing the poker game on Skull Island. It is swapped with the tarot
cards to win the poker game.

ANCHOR
Found after Dinghy Dog fails to guess Guybrush’s correct age. It is used with
the stack of pies. It is used with the pie pan in Mega-monkey mode.

DINGHY DOG HAIR
Found after Guybrush pushes Dinghy Dog four times. It is one of three items
used on the plain snowcone.

DISGUSTING SNOWCONE
Made by using the dinghy dog hair, meringue pie or pepper mill on the plain
snowcone. When all three items have been used, the disgusting snowcone is
eaten to change Guybrush back to normal.

FAKE PIE
Made by using the bottle of shaving foam on the pie pan in Mega-monkey mode.
It is used with the anchor to make the heavy fake pie.

HEAVY FAKE PIE
Made by using the anchor on the fake pie in Mega-monkey mode. It is used with
the stack of pies.

MERINGUE PIE
After the pie with the cannon has knocked over the mime, the meringue pie is
found by looking through the hole near the stack of pies. It is one of three
items used on the plain snowcone.

PEPPER MILL
Found on the snowcone stall. It is one of three items used on the plain
snowcone. After the rope is attached to to the keg o’ rum in part VI, it is
used on LeChuck in the area with the giant snow monkey.

PLAIN SNOWCONE
Found by talking to the soda jerk at the snowcone stall. It is combined with
the Dinghy Dog hair, meringue pie and pepper mill.

FALLEN ROPE
Found in the first area with the model of the waving monkey. It is used with
the keg o’ rum after it has put on the giant snow monkey in the fourth area.

Found in the second area with the model of the pirate ship. It is used with
the giant snow monkey in the fourth area.
