Set in the 1940s, the player controls rookie government agent Jim Pearson as he begins his first case investigating Nazi propaganda.

The investigation soon becomes more complicated, as Jim discovers evidence linking the Nazis to the supernatural, occultism, and a series of ritualistic killings.

Jim meets Elizabeth Short, who has a strange engraved stone called the Black Dahlia. The Nazis want the artifact as a source of ultimate power, and after her brutal murder, the stone disappears.

As Jim searches for the missing item, he uncovers a web of evil, deceit, and intrigue while trying to survive and remain uncorrupted.
