Recently overheard while hiding behind a stomping boot…

Team Disaster is overjoyed to announce that Captain Disaster in: Death Has A Million Stomping Boots is now available!

This retro point and click adventure game is designed to simultaneously test your grey matter and tickle your funny bone with a wide variety of puzzles, multitudinous alien and robotic lifeforms to interact with, and more parody elements than you could shake a stick at (if you are in that habit of shaking sticks at things, that is). Of course no self-respecting comedy sci-fi game is complete without some lunatic trying to take over the galaxy, so we have one of them, too!

Developers “Team Disaster” estimate that, Including social media and adventure game forums, this game is hotly anticipated by a worldwide following of up to a dozen (though up to half of those are probably bots) They also guarantee that this game will take you an indeterminate amount of time to complete. If that doesn’t convince you, they just don’t know what will! At any rate, you must want to know what these “million stomping boots” are, right? RIGHT? Hey, where did everybody go?

Captain Disaster in: Death Has a Million Stomping Boots will initially be available for $8.99 from Itch.io. Other distributors will be added soon.

The game is currently for Windows only, but other platforms will be arriving shortly. For additional screenshots, a synopsis of the plot, some game details and a teaser trailer, please click here and here.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
