Tacoma developer Fullbright says…

“Happy Holidays to you and yours!

“2017 is coming to a close, and we just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, the loyal subscribers who have kept up with Tacoma all along the way, and those who have just joined our ranks recently, for supporting what we do and being the reason we keep on making the stuff we make. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate all the folks who have played Tacoma and shared their heartfelt thoughts and experiences with us. Thank you again from everyone here at Fullbright! And one of our ways of saying thanks comes from our incredibly talented animator, Noël Clark! Noël, it just so happens, is also an incredibly talented illustrator, and composed this wonderful image of the Tacoma crew enjoying the holiday season together, in the simpler times before certain events transpired…

“So if you need a new, festive wallpaper for your device of choice, grab the high-res file here and paper away!

“We always thought of the story of Tacoma as being about a group of strangers, thrown together by circumstance, becoming a kind of family. Noël’s image conveys that warmth and togetherness beautifully. From our crew to yours, all the best in this holiday season!

“And as another way of saying thanks…

“We’ve entered Winter Sale season, and Tacoma is taking part! If you’ve been waiting to take the leap into orbit and experience Tacoma (or if you have a friend who’s been waiting for the perfect time to check it out…) we’re on sale for just $9.99 from now through the new year! Visit Tacoma’s page on Steam, itch.io, GOG and more to buy or gift a copy for half-off. It’s been a year packed end-to-end with incredibly great games; thanks everyone who’s taking this chance to grab Tacoma as the year comes to a close.”

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
