WHAT IS IT? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

I beg your pardon…I’ve just watched the trailer.

What follows can be confusing, so let’s begin with an email I’ve received from developer Ape Law, copied verbatim…

Greetings fans and followers of Albino Lullaby!
We at Ape Law are super excited to finally show off some of Albino Lullaby: Episode 2. We have a packed update for you so let’s get to it!

After much ado we are finally able to announce a solid release date for Episode 2 ! We intend to release on steam on:
MARCH 22, 2018!!!
And as the meat to your potatoes we are proud to finally share the very first footage of Episode 2.
We would also like to take this oportunity to change the game’s name to more accurately reflect what its about, and now that we are finally able to reveal Alice, ‘Albino Lullaby’ will furthermore be known as ‘Alice’s Lullaby’.

So, lights down, and headphones on! We hope you enjoy this undeniable proof that Episode 2 is an actual, bonafide thing!

Thank you again for your continued support

Okay. As of this writing, the trailer on the Steam page is broken. I retrieved the one above from YouTube; hopefully, it’s the same trailer.

Also, I’ve looked at screenshots on several different pages — including the Steam page  — and they all appear to be from Albino Lullaby Episode 1. Follow the links above to see them, and to read a review of Episode 1.

In order to play Episode 2, you must have purchased Episode 1 on Steam. The descriptions reflected on both the Episode 1 and 2 store pages appear to be identical.

Episode 2 is referred to as both Alice’s Lullaby and Albino Lullaby, sometimes on the same web page (Steam pages included). The URL aliceslullaby.com leads to a page about the first Albino Lullaby.

In any event, Alice’s Lullaby/Albino Lullaby Episode 2 for Windows and VR (Oculus Rift, Vive, Morpheus) is currently available for pre-purchase. The game is to be launched March 22, 2018.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
