Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is an open-world exploration adventure game that takes place on the massive island of Gemea. Here you’ll find eight unique regions, each with its own wildlife and ecosystem, ranging from sunny beaches to rolling plains to snow-capped mountains, each with its own seasons and day-night cycles.

Gemea may seem to be a paradise, but all is not well here. An evil murk has enshrouded the land and left its people in despair.

You will embark on a journey of self-discovery in a quest to learn the island’s secrets and become its champion. Build relationships with the locals through farming, crafting, cooking, fishing and brewing. Join forces with Sprites, the only ones capable of disbursing the murk.

Developer Prideful Sloth includes seasoned developers who have worked on AAA properties including Batman: Arkham, The Elder Scrolls, DmC: Devil May Cry, Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Rome: Total War.

Cheryl Vance, co-founder and lead designer: Yonder’s gorgeous and immersive fantasy world will send players on an epic quest to revitalize a troubled land. With an inviting atmosphere, a massive open-world to explore and a wealth of mystery, Yonder will provide countless hours of entertainment.

Look for Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles for Windows and PS4 at major retailers and digital outlets beginning July 18th.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
