Ama’s Lullaby is a point-and-click adventure wrapped in a cyberpunk environment. It features a command-line-based hacking system similar to that found in Uplinkand gameplay in the style of Blade Runner. The game’s focus will be on dialog, network hacks, replayability, multiple-endings and strong audiovisual immersion.

After the discovery of an asteroid on a potential collision course with Earth, AI — designed by teenage computer-science prodigy Ama (that’s you) and her father — is sent to construct colonies in space.

As you explore the first colony, you’ll interact with AI, androids and cyborgs. But something isn’t right here. The colony’s inhabitants are exhibiting strange behavior. And once you discover the truth concerning the reason you’ve been sent to the colony, your world starts to fall apart.

Ana’s Lullaby currently appears on Steam Greenlight Concepts  in order to gather feedback from potential customers and begin building a community. The ratings received here are for the benefit of developer Mercy Ground Creations and have no bearing on distribution of the game on Steam.

A Kickstarter campaign is in the offing for Ama’s Lullaby and should be live later today. The current plan is to release the game in Spring 2019 for Windows, Mac and Linux.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
