Hopefully, the wait will soon be over.

Elliot Grassiano, Vice-President of Microids: After years of expectations, we are glad to offer to our fans a first overview of the universe imagined by Benoit Sokal and set to music by Inon Zur. This first trailer will transport them in Kate Walker’s new adventure, they will learn more about her fellow companions and the obstacles they are going to face.

As Syberia 3 begins, Kate’s life is saved by the nomadic Youkols who are conducting the annual transhumance of the snow ostriches to the holy steppes where they can reproduce.

They all end up prisoners in the city of Valsembor, from which they must escape in order to continue their imporant journey. This turns into a race with their enemies in which they’ll encounter unexpeted obstacles. Along the way, Kate’s past will start to catch up with her.

Developed in 3D, Syberia 3 will offer players more freedom than ever to explore magnificent countrysides and cities. You’ll unravel mysteries and enigmas in a manner never before seen in the Syberia saga.

The game will feature an original score by Inon Zur (Syberia 2, Fallout, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia). You can listen to the main theme right here:

Once again from the mind of Benoit Sokal and Microids, Syberia 3 will be released April 20th in Europe and April 25th in North America for PS4, Xbox One, Windows and Mac. The game is currently available for pre-order on Steam  for Windows and Mac at $39.99 (Regular Edition) and $49.99 (Deluxe Edition).

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
