PC users take heed: Lucius II: The Prophecy will make its debut appearance on Friday, February 13, 2015, in the land of Steam.

The story of Lucius II picks up where the original game ends. The sole survivor of the fire that destroyed his family’s home, Lucius is taken to a psychiatric hospital, where he now resides. But don’t worry — the havoc will re-commence shortly.

Indie Developer Shiver Games guarantees that Lucius II will be bigger, better and bloodier than the original Lucius. Not only will you again take the part of the malevolent lead character, you’ll have a five-story hospital as well as the town of Ludlow in which to…er…misbehave. You’ll encounter over 100 potential victims, and it will be up to you to decide when, how and who to kill.

You’ll be able to create unique traps via a complex combination system, and even customize Lucius by imbuing him with the supernatural abilities of your choice.

There will be plenty of 3D “splatter” in the sandbox. You’ll also find references to many classic horror movies throughout the game.

Lucius II: The Prophecy will be released on platforms other than PC via various distributors gradually during the coming months. Details will be forthcoming.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
