Styx: Master of Shadows Screens, Info, Teaser Trailer – February 14, 2014
News: First Teaser Trailer Released for Styx: Master of Shadows – February 14, 2014

Styx, the goblin anti-hero, is again giving us a glimpse of his numerous talents that will help you climb the vast Tower of Akenash. A master assassin and part-time thief, Styx can remove any objects that hamper his progress. But he has to be sure not to leave clues behind that could alert the guards to his presence: a lifeless body in a walkway, for instance. As these images show, Styx can move his victims’ corpses and hide them where no one will accidentally stumble across them.

The Tower of Akenash is not only inhabited by humans and elves, however. Other fantastic creatures roam the gloomy halls and passages of this immense tower, and Styx is wise to avoid them…if he doesn’t want to end up as dinner for a hungry Orc, that is.

Styx: Master of Shadows is an infiltration game with RPG elements developed by Cyanide Studio for PC. Styx is the very first goblin; a master in the arts of stealth, theft and murder.

The miles-high Tower of Akenash is the best chance Styx has of quickly amassing a small fortune and, perhaps, of discovering more about his true origins along the way.

Styx: Master of Shadows includes mechanics right out of RPG, so as you gain experience as Styx, you will unlock new skills, special and impressive moves and new and lethal weapons in six talent trees. You will also acquire extraordinary powers contained in the Amber flowing from the Source Tree within the Tower which will help you out of a tight spot, make you invisible to the eyes of your enemies and even enable you to generate “disposable” clones of yourself!

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
