Mystique Chapter 1: Foetus screenshot - click to enlargeMystique Chapter 1: Foetus is the first chapter in an episodic horror story for mobile platforms.

The game is quite short and the setup is simplicity itself: You find yourself locked in a VERY bloody, disgusting bathroom. You need to get out.

Mystique Chapter 1: Foetus screenshot - click to enlargeDid I say short? This game is one room long. And it’s a small room. A bathroom.

However, those modest ambitions acknowledged, this is an honest-to-goodness classic first-person point-and-click, inventory-based adventure game. You have one puzzle to solve: get out of the room. You have to carefully explore the room, collect and combine and use inventory items, and use your head.

Mystique Chapter 1: Foetus screenshot - click to enlargeThe game is less than an hour long. It’s got a very distasteful setting. And I enjoyed solving it very much. I think you will, too.

Mystique Chapter 1: Foetus screenshot - click to enlargeI’ll continue to bring you updates on the bloody Mystique saga, which is now at least three chapters long.

Oh, and did I mention that the first chapter is free? So what have you got to lose?
