Legend of Hand has been inspired by “adventure classics, Far-East Legends and martial arts beat ’em up games of the ’80s and ’90s.” The game features distinctive hand-drawn (no pun intended) graphics and animation. You can look forward to 10+ hours of gameplay.

As the hero, you live in a world filled with increasing unrest that can only be stopped by the mythical, enigmatic Grandmaster Hand, who vanished years before. It’s up to you to find him. Embark on a quest that will take you across four mysterious islands controlled by the so-called Fingers of Hand, during which you’ll gather clues, collect inventory items, solve puzzles and engage in martial arts combat.

Along the way, you’ll meet intriguing, bizarre, amusing and lovable characters, some of whom will join you on your journey. Will you find the mysterious Grandmaster Hand? Will your world be reunited?

Your destiny awaits…

Legend of Hand is currently available for Windows on Steam, itch.io and Game Jolt for $6.99 USD.

Developer Cloak and Dagger Games is a trio of adventure game enthusiasts — Shaun Aitcheson, John Inch and Laurie Michel-Hutteau — based in London. They have previously released Mudlarks , A Date in the Park and The Terrible Old Man, all of which are free. Their upcoming games include the point-and-click adventures Football Game and Sumatra.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
