Chronos is an atmospheric, VR-exclusive RPG for PC/Windows and Oculus Rift in which you’ll travel through an ancient labyrinth on a lifelong quest to save your homeland from great evil. The game will be launching for Windows/PC on March 28th with Rift. You won’t simply play in the game world…you’ll BE in the game world.

David Adams, CEO, Gunfire Games: “Chronos’ narrative directly affects gameplay. As the character ages, they (sic) become a wiser and more seasoned warrior, learning from past mistakes and from the exploration of the caverns, ruins and tombs. It also means that players’ strategies will change as their characters grow older.

“It feels great to finally be here, so close to the finish line. It’s awesome to work on a launch title for exciting new hardware like Rift and to be part of such a huge launch. We can’t wait for March 28 to arrive so players can get their hands on both Rift and Chronos.”

Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey: “Chronos is like OG LOZ on VR steroids, it has more depth than almost any other VR game at this point.”

So rest up, mark your calendars…and don’t forget your headset. Wink

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
