Basically, Little Devil Inside is an exploration-focused survival action RPG. But it won’t be about dungeons, killing monsters as quickly as possible and collecting rewards. Instead, the game’s pace will be that of a long journey.
You’re hired by a professor who investigates the paranormal and other unusual areas of study, and who sends you on risky missions to find and retrieve info and artifacts. As part of the faculty, you get to manage your own team. You also get an “everyday” life to manage.
You won’t have superpowers, but will develop skills and strengths throughout the game. You’ll have human limitations and vulnerabilities. It will be possible for you to be hurt or get sick.
Neostream is roughly aiming for a Fall 2016 release, depending on funding, etc. Platforms will include Windows, Mac and Linux, and possibly Xbox One and PS4.
Little Devil Inside has already been Greenlit. The Kickstarter campaign has a base goal of $250,000 AUD and will run until May 25, 2015. Please consider giving the game your backing!
