Avenging Angel has two playable characters: Vincent Recraven and Amity Sigrune.
Both characters begin their adventure as Associates of the Inventors Guild: freelance mechanics who do assorted maintenance jobs around the Northern City States. This also can involve SoulFire hacking, alchemy and intelligence-gathering.
Associates come from many different backgrounds. The vagabond nature of the job, however, attracts ex-military personnel and people who have trouble fitting in with the world.
Avenging Angel won’t have missions in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s divided into five parts, each with its own focus.
The game will initially be released on PC, then on Linux/Steam OS. It’s also being designed to support Oculus Rift and similar VR devices.
Avenging Angel‘s Indiegogo campaign has a base goal of €12,500 and will run until January 5, 2015. It also appears on Steam Greenlight.
