Description from Wales Interactive:

Take your first steps to immortality by uploading your soul to Elysia, named by critics as “the single most important development in the history of the human race” (Era Magazine, 2027). As the latest state of the art Digital Soul Provider, Elysia is a sprawling server where memories and dreams become reality. Our patented SoulSync system allows you to choose the memories you want to enjoy for eternity – firstly, as a living user of Elysia, and secondly, as a lasting testament of your life that future generations can relive at their leisure. In Elysia, death has no dominion and life has no boundaries. Cast off your mortal body and discover the secret to everlasting life in your digital afterlife. Discover Elysia.

Then, now and forever.

When you begin the game you are free falling through a stormy sky. Lightning sporadically illuminates the dark storm clouds showing vivid flashes of memories from your life. You struggle to take a breath as you plummet into the eye of the storm, out of control and crashing to your certain death. Through your squinting, rain soaked eyes you catch a glimpse of large object that you’re hurtling towards. Your brace yourself for impact, for your imminent death, totally confused by what’s happening and then – blackness.

As you come around, you realize you’re still alive. You are on the deck of a ship, rain pummelling the wooden boards. You look up to see four shadowy figures on the bridge gazing into the distance. You can make out an old man at the helm who appears to be shouting at you. As you zone back into the moment you hear him call out “Come on boy, you have to save us, you need to get the engines working or we’re doomed!”

Explore Soul Axiom’s rich environments and immersive story to unravel the mystery of your life and digital afterlife. You will be taken on an intriguing voyage of discovery, through beautiful, haunting locations, facing challenges that will take you into danger on your mission to unlock your identity, your story, your mystery. But beware: some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Features:
-Psychological Adventure with Exploration & Puzzle elements

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
