Stasis Developer Taps Mark Morgan to Write the Score; Support Added for Mac
Morgan has written the music for such games as Fallout 1-3 and Planetscape
Creator Christopher Bischoff of indie studio The Brotherhood has announced that film, TV and videogame composer Mark Morgan will be writing the music for the upcoming sci-fi horror adventure Stasis.
In Stasis, the player awakes from stasis trapped on a seemingly derelict spaceship called the Groomlake, which is in a decaying orbit around Neptune. The player discovers that the ship is really a platform for horrific experimentation and illicit research.
After numerous requests, support for Mac OS X has been confirmed for the game’s final release.
A demo is available from the game’s official site for PC (Windows 7, 8, Vista) and Mac OS X – 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and 10.9 (Mavericks).
A Kickstarter campaign was launched on November 4th and it has reached over 50% of its funding goal. Stasis has also been featured on top industry sites and has received very favorable feedback.
