Indie developer The Game Kitchen announced today the release of The Last Door Chapter 3, “The Four Witnesses”. The episodic point-and-click horror adventure game for PC, Linux, and Mac platforms (as well as any other flash-enabled devices) was originally funded on Kickstarted in 2012 and has seen the release of three chapters successfully.
The Four Witnesses sees the main character, Jeremiah Devitt, appear in a new and strange town full of crude and rude people. His only piece of inventory is a theater play ticket inside his pocket, and a mind that has no idea how he got there in the  first place. He will have to explore and avoid trouble in the terrible and sordid slum to find out where he came from and what is going on around him.
The Four Witnesses being released sees the second chapter “Memories” available for free without restrictions. The original trailer for The Last Door can be seen below:
The overall storyline of The Last Door centers around Jeremy Devitt, who received a letter from an old friend. He heads to his friend’s manor to discover that the place is deserted. After seeking clues to find out about his friend’s disappearance, he heads to the boarding school they attended together, which is now a hospital for the terminally ill. Things aren’t what they seem, and Devitt’s adventure continues on in Old Nichols Slum.
