Just
Adventure is honored to present these exclusive, never-before-seen screenshots
from WM (working title), the newest adventure release in progress from
Pietro Montelatici and his crew from the Italian-based Trecision.
Pietro previously produced Dead of Night, Ark of Time and Nightlong,
a game many in North America are just now playing. If you think these shots
are impressive, then keep in mind that lightmaps and shadows have not yet been
applied to the environment.

WM is a real-time-rendered 3D adventure/action
game that will support both the mouse and the keyboard. It will employ both a
third- and first-person point of view that will allow your characters to climb,
push and swim, not to mention object interaction that will allow for advanced
inventory manipulation.

That’s correct, I said characters. You will
be able to control two main and independent protagonists, Dr. Darrell Boone or
Victoria Conroy, both with their own unique abilities and emotions. Each can follow
a different path as he or she explores the digital reconstruction of an Austrian
castle. Inaccessible and long-forgotten areas of the castle must be thoroughly
investigated, and numerous supporting nonplayer characters will be following their
own agendas inside the castle walls as they help or hinder your quest.

Dr.
Boone is a scientist specializing in paranormal activity, and Victoria Conroy
is a young, ambitious lawyer whose job it is to oversee Dr. Boone’s research–the
Ley Lines. The Ley Lines are a new and incredibly powerful energy source leading
to the unknown roads of the dead. Dr. Boone has grown suspicious of his mysterious
client’s interest in the Ley Lines, and his apprehension will soon lead to the
ultimate quest for power and truth.

A paranormal plot, 3D indoor and outdoor
locations with motion capture and real-time shadows and the inclusion of full-motion
video make WM a game to keep an eye on. Based on Trecision’s track record,
WM is in good hands. This is a game that will be a must-have for any true
adventure gamer.
