An Open Letter from the Developer of Schizm to Just Adventure (5/00)

Thank you for your inquiry. The game is still in development; we won’t
cancel it. Unfortunately, at this moment we don’t have a publisher. We
still have to wait to clarify the situation, and then probably search
for a new publisher.

Anyway, the game will be released this fall, this way or another.

I’m currently preparing a few panoramic images to publish on www.schizm.com.
They will show some previously unseen locations.

I wish I had more detailed information, but it’s all we know here at
this moment.

Best regards,

Maciek

A Special Note from Maciej Miasik–Developer of Schizm–to
the Readers of Just Adventure

The fact we managed to contract Terry Dowling, award-winning Australian
sci-fi writer, to redo the story and write all dialogues, will help us
in defeating the weakest part of our previous game (Reah). Now
Schizm has a strong and intriguing story, the characters will certainly
speak vivid words, and we will make sure that all other elements of the
game, puzzles, visuals, and audio will be top-notch as well. Although
Schizm is still a puzzle-oriented adventure, the story will be
the integral part of the game, proving that “Myst clones”
still can deliver good value for every adventurer. I am sending 20 world-exclusive
screen shots for my friends at Just Adventure.

Schizm: Mysterious Journey

Just Like Finding the Marie Celeste

You are about to participate in a great adventure.

It is the year 2083. Ten months ago, the first humans landed on Argilus.
They found cities, towns, industrial installations–all deserted. Doors
unlocked. Meals unfinished. Amazing machinery still working. But no people.

It was like finding the Marie Celeste on a planetary scale.

Living Ships, Floating Cities, a Fascinating Mystery

Science teams were brought in, research bases set up. Four months later,
your supply ship has been sent to check on these bases. But when you hail
them from orbit, there’s no answer. The science teams, too, seem to have
vanished.

Now your systems are failing and you and your crewmate have no choice
but to abandon ship. But where can you go? Where else?

What Has Happened on Argilus?

Schizm: Mysterious Journey is a thrilling first contact adventure
where you play both members of the Earth supply vessel Angel as you explore
the fascinating landscapes of an alien world filled with mystery and intrigue.

Only You Can Unlock the Secret!
