Preview Loath

Proving once again that
adventure gamers inhabit every nook and cranny of the globe, is
a new project from Turkish development team
Aedon Games.
Fear not, though Aedon Games (named after Aedon the wife of king
Zethus of Thebes and mother
of Itylus) is located in Turkey, this interesting looking game will
be in English so as to reach as wide an audience as possible.
Loath Nolder: Labores
Solis is a pre-rendered, 3D first-person horror
adventure. Loath Nolder is the name of the detective, sort of a Turkish
Tex Murphy if you will. Labores Solis means solar eclipse and is
the name of the game.
Loath Nolder is tentatively planned to be the first in a series
of games. Loath is a private detective who investigates supernatural
events. In his first adventure, he has been hired by Jonathan Field
to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his brother Clark,
a rich businessman heavy into the worlds of mysticism and occultism.
Labores Solis promises
a heavy dose of Lovecraftian mythology and the Necronomicon. The
graphics look to have been influenced by Jonathan
Boakes’ Darkfall.
We will have more on this
game as it nears completion. There is a playable demo currently
in development and JA will offer it for
download once it is available. In the meantime, take a moment to
visit their website for game updates
and even a few music samples from the game. For now, we have these
few screenshots to whet your appetite and prepare you for things
that go bump in the night.
