DECODING THE TELEGRAM WITH THE
CRYPTOGRAPH
 

 
1) Connect the green and red wires on the cryptograph (1)
2) Switch the cryptograph on (2)
3) Set the numbers in the rectangle (3) to correspond with those on
the telegram (4)
4) Type in the coded message (5) and then press DECODE (6)
 

The message should read:

…Rubaiyat hidden in boiler room3, coal chute 4
SB will deliver painting after pickup.
Will confirm…
Zeitel…
