Second Floor Storage Room Puzzle Box

• The object is to turn all of the lights off.
• Each time you click on a light that light and the lights above,
  below, left and right will flip (off will turn on and on will
  turn off).
• I am sure that there is an algorithm for solving this kind of
  puzzle.
• I am sure that the solution is similar to solving a Rubik’s
  Cube (for this pattern, follow these steps, etc.)
• I am sure that I have no idea what that algorithm might be.
  If you have seen it, please email me and I will include it here.

• Number the lights in the top row 1-2-3-4 and so on.
• Click the following lights: 1, 4, 9, 12, 6, 1, 5, 3, 11, 8.

• You don’t have to use frequency analysis. The key actually
  exits somewhere.
• Each box may have one or two sides missing and each box pattern
  has three different dot positions.
• Where else have we seen the entire alphabet split up into three
  letters per box?

Viking Museum Puzzle

• This is a Rune Stone Dissolution puzzle. It will not activate
  until the correct Rune Stone is placed in it.
• This is actually a classic puzzle called The Towers of Hanoi.
  It is easy to solve, but a bit tedious.
• The object of the puzzle is to move the entire stack of disks
  from the Left post to the Right post (where the outlines are).
• Only the top disk of any stack can be moved.
• A disk can only be placed on a larger disk or an empty post.
• First, figure out your starting move as your first move will
  determine where the largest disk ends up.
• To determine the first move, work backwards from the largest
  disk. The largest disk must be moved off of Left (L) and placed
  on Right (R). Therefore the second largest must be moved from
  L to Center (C). The next largest then would go on R. And so on
  alternating between C and R until you figure out where the smallest
  disk must be placed.

• Use the Rune Stone Mannaz
• The first move is to place the smallest disk on R.
• On every odd move (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.) you will move the smallest
  disk one post to the left (R, C, L, R, C, L, etc.).
• On every even move (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) you will NOT touch
  the smallest disk and make the only other move possible.
• Just be patient and careful and this will solve it.

Security Room Puzzle

Hints

• This is a Rune Stone Dissolution puzzle. It will not activate
  until the correct Rune Stone is placed in it.
• This is a classic puzzle where the object is to exchange the
  gold and silver coins so that the silver end up where the gold
  started and the gold end up where the silver started.
• Coins can only move forward towards the opposite side. They
  can never move backwards towards their home position.
• Coins can move forward one position if that position is empty.
• Coins can jump any single coin as long as the target location
  is empty.
• You will notice that once two coins of the same color are next
  to each other they create a block which the other coins cannot
  pass. Game over. You lose.
• So the strategy is never to make a move which creates a block
  or forces a block to be created on the next move.
• Never jump the same color. Gold should not jump Gold and Silver
  should not jump Silver. This would create a block.
• The technique is to start with either color, jump every opposing
  color which can be jumped and finally move your next coin forward.
  Then do the same with the other color.

Solution

• Use the Rune Stone Perth.
• Rather than show every individual move, the following lines
  will show the position you should be in after making all the moves
  with the specified color. We will start with S) for Silver.

Hints

• This puzzle will give you a Rune Stone at the end.
• The object of this puzzle is to start at any chocolate and move
  along each line once and only once.
• Once traveled, the lines vanish to keep you honest.
• Notice that once you create a dead end (a line with only one
  path in and no path back out) you must end there.
• Thus one strategy is to avoid making a dead end until you can
  see the end path into it.
• Another strategy is to nibble around the edges removing as much
  as you can without creating the dead ends.
• The correct starting point can be critical.
• Entering and leaving a point removes two lines. If the point
  had three lines going to it, visiting that point will create a
  dead end.
• You will only remove one line from the point you start from
  (by leaving it).
• You will want to start from a point having an odd number of
  lines (leaving it will make it even).
• There are only two points which have an odd number of lines
  connected to them. You can start at one and end at the other.
