Knee Deep, Act 1: Wonderland Review – July 15, 2015

Get up-close-and-personal with Knee Deep, the indie theatrical swamp noir adventure from Prologue Games, via its release for Rift and Vive.

Experience the game as never before. Take your place on-stage next to Romana Teague, Jack Bellet and K.C. Gaddis as they scramble to uncover a swampland conspiracy.

Prologue Games has revisited the entire game and tweaked it for the best VR experience. Players may notice presentation differences between the VR and standalone versions of the game, but all story lines remain.

Windows, Mac and Linux versions of Knee Deep are now available in VR from Steam  at a 50% discount until November 15th for new players. Existing users will have immediate access to VR content, and new customers will receive both the original and VR versions of the game.

Step even closer to the performance with Tobii EyeX integration. Affect lighting on actors, have them turn to acknowledge your presence, and affect menus and minigames with the effortless movement of your eyes.

Knee Deep is slated to launch soon on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 through a partnership with Wales Interactive.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
