Silence Descends on Gamescom 2016 for First Public Hands-On Experience
Daedalic also showcases new gameplay trailer that provides insight into the fantastic world of its upcoming adventure

Note: This game was originally called Silence: The Whispered World II, sequel to The Whispered World — the review of which, FYI, incorrectly reflects yours truly as the reviewer when in reality, I haven’t even played the game. Be that as it may, the title of the subject game has apparently been shortened to a single word: Silence.

It’s a time of war. Noah and his little sister Renie take shelter in a bunker and find themselves in a land between life and death called Silence. When Renie gets lost, Noah must venture forth and try to find her.
Join Noah and Renie on their journey through an idyllic but threatening world that bears the scars of war. Experience an emotionally gripping story of contrasts between serenity and danger.
Silence features elaborate 3D characters on 2D backgrounds; offers three playable characters and up to 12 hours of gameplay. The game will be released in Q4 2016 for Windows, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PS4.
