Okay, so Inner Chains is a horror FPS rather than an adventure game or RPG. It just looks so scrumptious to me that I’m covering it anyway.

Inhabit a world of biomechanical beings in which you’ll have just one goal. You must find a mythical place called the Last Hope and leave this sick world forever.

On your journey, you’ll discover that nothing is what it seems. You’ll have to fight for survival using your watchfulness, logical judgment, quick reflexes, accuracy and the ability to use your surroundings to your advantage.

Inner Chains will offer unparalleled interaction between weapons, their users and the environment. Its visual style is surreal and stunning.

You’ll be traveling through unusual locations, each with its own unique story. You’ll confront vicious flora and fauna that lie in wait for you to stumble.

Inner Chains is being constructed by Telepaths Tree for PC/Windows and Linux with Unreal 4. The game will offer VR support. A release date is TBD.

With 33 hours to go, the Kickstarter  base goal and first stretch goal (Linux) have been achieved and the campaign is well on its way to achieving Stretch Goal 2, which adds two extra opponents. So how about tossing some money over to Telepaths Tree?

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
