Horror Adventure Ghost Theory to Re-Materialize on Kickstarter This Month
Indie developer Dreadlocks, having canceled its first Kickstarter campaign for the game last February, is trying again

Ghost Theory is a first-person horror adventure that takes ghost-hunting and paranormal research seriously. It will transport you to locations that are notorious in the real world for actually being haunted, such as 30 East Drive, Pontefract, Yorkshire, said to be “home to the most violent poltergeist in Europe.” (Curious? Have a look.) You’ll be taking authentic ghost-hunting tools with you. Oh, and your character will be clairvoyant, as well.
Ghost Theory will offer advanced VR support and is being engineered to give players the most immersive experience possible, as nothing in the game will remind players that they’re actually in a game. Objectives will be non-linear and open-ended.
Ghost Theory is being developed for PC, Mac, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One. The game has already been Greenlit, and Dreadlocks will be starting a new Kickstarter campaign this month. Please consider backing the game once the campaign goes live.
If all goes well, the game should be released sometime in 2017.
