Dome City Announcement Teaser – September 22, 2015

In Unreal 4-powered Dome City, three young, inexperienced astronauts become trapped in an abandoned dome-covered city on Mars. In this world, nothing is as it seems.

Play each of the protagonists and discover hidden clues that lead to food, water and electricity. You’ll also be repairing broken machinery.

Further, you must investigate strange events: blurry shadows disappear in random corridors; monster claws open the doors; there are lights coming from abandoned houses.

You must survive, discover what’s happened here, solve the mystery of Dome City’s abandonment and find a way to escape. To that end, all of the city’s buildings, rooms, lockers, cabinets, etc. will be explorable.

Realistic puzzles of varying difficulty will obstruct your path; each problem will have more than one solution. The choices you make will influence the direction of the non-linear story.

Dome City has an alternative ending with a big twist that will give you a completely different perspective concerning the game’s events.

Overon Station plans to release Dome City early in 2017 for PC (Steam), Mac, Linux, PS4 and XboxOne. To provide feedback about the game as a WIP, visit its Greenlight concept page.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
