A Message from Developer SynchRunBuild Regarding the V.Next Kickstarter – July 7, 2015
Retro Cyberpunk Adventure V.Next Lands on Kickstarter – July 4, 2015

The following video represents the state of the game’s “World Mode.”  Main character Vivienne can now run around futuristic Seattle, infiltrate Data Centers and invade Corporate Offices.

In V.Next, you’ll find shades of William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Bruce Sterling along with  visual references to Blade Runner, Max Headroom, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Matrix. Taking place in Seattle in the year 2037, the game is a thrilling tale of electronic warfare, discovery, justice and adventure that brings the best of 1990s cyberpunk to modern screens.

A pilot episode for Windows/PC and Mac will be released initially, with more episodes to follow. SynchRunBuild hopes to release the pilot by the end of 2015. Stay tuned for more info…

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
