A classic point & click adventure where you can do and say stupid things while in Paris? Well sign me up!!

Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure by indie developor COWCAT just hit Kickstarter to put the final touches on the game. The campaign is off to a strong start having raised just shy of half the very modest $2,810 being sought.

For anyone intrigued by a cynical French adventure, two demos are available.

The first is an Online (HTML5) quick test demo and the second is a longer downloadable demo version (Win, Mac, Linux).

I recommend trying the downloadable version.

Become antique-seller Bjorn Thonen who, after coming home drunk one night, is robbed. With the assistance of next-door neighbor Sandra, he investigates the crime only to become caught up in a mystery complete with ancient secrets. The game boasts handcrafted HD art in comic book/Disney style as can be seen from the trailer and the screenshots.

Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure is scheduled for release sometime in 2016 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
