IMGN.PRO has announced that Kholat has entered the final production stage and will see its global release on 10th of June 2015 for PC and Mac.

Kholat is a FPP storytelling / experience game developed by independent studio IMGN.PRO and inspired by true events known as the Dyatlov Pass Incident. We follow the path of a group of Russian students who undertook an expedition in the northern Ural Mountains. But the team never reached its goal. The entire crew died under mysterious circumstances.

A rescue expedition found the tent, which was cut from the inside. Students’ bodies, incompletely dressed, were found within a radius of several hundred meters. Everything pointed to some kind of event that caused sudden panic, leading to a tragic, chaotic escape. In most cases, death occurred as a result of chilling, but some bodies had strange damage. Years after the actual event, the player is thrown into the area where the tragedy occurred with a chance to discover the real course of the tragic events.
