The cinematic trailer below illustrates the game’s mix of enchanting puzzles, fearsome hack’n’slash combat and intriguing platform design.

Upside-Down Dimensions is a tale good and evil, courage and bravery, and love and sacrifice that’s folded into paper. Inspired by Japanese folklore, it features two dimensions connected by multidimensional box mechanics. One is focused on action and combat; the other on intellect and cunning in which puzzle-solving is of utmost importance.

Daniel Parente, CEO of Hydra Interactive: “We’re very excited with the announcement of our Kickstarter campaign for Upside-Down Dimensions. The concept for Upside-Down Dimensions has been validated by the Steam community and we’re eager to make this game a reality with the backing, support and collaboration of our fans!”

The game is expected to be released in 2Q 2016 on PC and Linux. Additional platforms will be added depending on the level of support received.

The Kickstarter campaign will run until April 22, 2015, with a base goal of $75,000. If you’re up for a game with two dimensions, one path and an epic journey to stop evil from destroying the world, please consider backing Upside-Down Dimensions.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
