This funny, retro-styled point-and-click adventure, launched by indie developer Nerd Monkeys in December 2013 for Windows, Mac and Linux, is fresh and ready to conquer a new audience when it’s released on January 22nd for Android and iOS (and later, for Windows phone). Finally, Detective Case and Clown Bot will be able to walk around.

The duo is called in to investigate a murder that has everyone stumped. Apparently, a man has committed suicide by stabbing himself in the back repeatedly while drinking coffee.

Murder in the Hotel Lisbon was inspired by the classic point-and-click adventures of the ’80s and ’90s. It was developed using the pixel art technique.

This new version contains a giant magnifying glass that allows the player to find all clues, even in the smallest phones. It includes 15 trophies and a leaderboard accessible through Game Center or Google Play.

The game will be available internationally in Portuguese and English from the App Store and Google Play. A free mini-game called Stand up Clown will be available separately.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal.
