A little more on the game

Before is a game about survival.

Guide your tribe through the challenges of a harsh and unforgiving pre-historic world, shaping their culture and defining their history.

The wilds are a dangerous place…

Finding food and shelter is an everyday struggle; and keeping your tribe safe and healthy is not always a simple task.

Not only must the tribe hunt and forage each day, they must also protect their young, fend off wild animals and battle the elements.

But that which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

Even through the hardship and the pain, a resilient people will flourish.

As the group’s numbers grow and they settle the land, the ways in which they interact will change. Hierarchies and power structures take

root, beliefs form and rituals emerge.

There’s a big wide world out there.

Forge ahead into the great unknown, exploring a timeless land.

Who knows what your tribe may discover…
