This video shows what Shelter 2 is all about: vast open landscapes, graphical storytelling, hunting and gathering, and most importantly – making sure that your children are kept safe..
Team Might and Delight: We have continued to work on Shelter 2 and are pleased to show of the first in-game footage. We have polished the visuals and the gameplay in search of an identity that continues were Shelter 1 left off – but still manages to stand on its own.

Guide a powerful Lynx through vast open landscapes. Give birth to your cubs; raise and strengthen them by mastering your skills for hunting prey. Explore the wild beauty of nature and do everything possible to prepare your family for the vicious entities dwelling on the cold tundra.

Set out to explore several huge open territories from a safe haven: the den. It’s a central place in the world to which the Lynx can always return to gather strength or to place bone trophies and other pickups such as rare plants and leaves found in hidden places throughout the vast wilderness.

The world of Shelter 2 portrays nature’s borderless beauty and its melancholic rawness. The music is once again created by Retro Family and the visuals have been reinvented with dense atmosphere and lighting over the patterned graphical art-style.

Shelter 2, from indie developer Might & Delight, will arrive for digital download in early 2015 for PC and Mac.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
