Norwegian indie developer Krillbite Studio has some great news! Among the Sleep is basically ready for release on PC, Mac and Linux (and later on PS4). To tide everyone over until the launch on May 29th, a “freshly squeezed announcement trailer,” captured in-game, has been released:

 From The Krillbite Team:

A lot is going through our minds now. There’s both lots of stress and joy in finally being able to share our project to the world. It’s also been a long ride for us, so it’s not without melancholy that we are now gazing upon the end. But it is mostly with excitement and pride! We cannot wait to share the game with the world, and in turn having the world tell us its thoughts.

But we still have one week to go, and we want to spend every single minute to make the game as good as we can. There’s always a small detail that can be improved, a bug that can be found and quashed, and we will not rest until our tired fingers push the great and powerful Release Button in one week!

Among the Sleep was successfully finded through Kickstarter. The game will be DRM-free and include support for Oculus Rift.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
