River Town Kickstarter Campaign Launched by Indie Developer Tweense
In this RPG, you’ll gain experience raising crops, farm animals and chickens, and doing other, well, farmer things. You never know when they might come in handy.
River Town Trailer and Screens – April 2, 2014
“River Town is pretty much like one, big Novella or Soap Opera. You never know who is who and what happens next.” Thus states Tweense, a small indie studio based in Glasgow, UK.
Tweense is seeking your support in making River Town a reality. To that end, a Kickstarter campaign has been launched.
Now, you could be thinking that River Town just might be a clone of the casual game Farmville. Well, not so. According to Tweense, “…comparing River Town to Farmville is pretty much like comparing Elvis Presley to Justin Bieber.”
Inspired by such classics as Harvest Moon and The Sims, the game will give players an option to create their own scripts, alter the course of the game and populate their farms with a wide variety of animals, crops and pets.
River Town is currently in pre-production and will be released on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. The Kickstarter campaign will run until May 7, 2014. Your support would be appreciated.
