Bethesda Softworks has announced the voice talent for the highly-anticipated The Elder Scrolls Online, which arrives April 4, 2014 on PC and Mac and in June 2014 for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One®.

A cast of higher pedigree would be difficult to find. It includes Academy Award nominee John Cleese (“A Fish Called Wanda,” “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”), Golden Globe winner Bill Nighy (“Pirates of the Caribbean”), Kate Beckinsale (“The Aviator,” “Pearl Harbor”), Alfred Molina (“Spider-Man 2”), Golden Globe nominees Sir Michael Gambon (“Harry Potter”) and Malcolm McDowell (“A Clockwork Orange”), Peter Stormare (“Fargo”) and Jim Ward (“WALL•E,” “Despicable Me 2”). Further, Lynda Carter (“Wonder Woman”) will return to the Elder Scrolls series to reprise her role from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

“This extraordinary group of actors helps bring the distinctive characters in The Elder Scrolls Online to life,” said Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online. “In The Elder Scrolls tradition, we sought world class talent to add a deep and enriching component to the immersive world the series offers players.”

The Elder Scrolls Online will bring the award-winning franchise online for the first time and has been named one of 2014’s most anticipated titles. Players can choose to play alone as in previous Elder Scrolls games, explore the massive game world with a few friends, or join with hundreds of others in massive PvP battles to save the Empire.

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
