Stormglass Ventures released today Stormglass Protocol: Room Escape! for the iPad (iOS v4.3 and above), a first-person puzzle adventure game that features the player trying to escape from sixteen rooms. The first three levels are available free, with the remainder requiring an in-app purchase.

 

In Stormglass Protocol: Room Escape! players wake up in a strange room, and a voice booms from the speakers: “Welcome to Vindigo Research Laboratories”. You have no idea where you are, how you got there, and what Vindigo Research Laboratories is. It is the player’s goal to make it through sixteen locked doors and portals to reach freedom.

 

Each room is highly explorable, and immersive puzzles such as mazes, balancing objects, managing gears and lasers, and hidden objects are the name of the game, along with a light-hearted narrative.
