Rising Star Games has announced that a PC version of Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut has been Greenlit in record time and is now available.

The Director’s Cut has new scenes, bonus content and enhanced graphics and controls.

Explore Greenvale in greater detail with redrawn textures, improved lighting, new shading, a 24-hour clock and weather cycles. See the game in an entirely new way with stereoscopic 3D support.

Controls have been overhauled to enable players to move with greater freedom. There are also plenty of side-quests and mini-games.  

The PC version includes the following features over and above the original and additional content over the PS3 release:

  • A surprising new scenario from the game’s director, Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro
  • Enhanced HD graphics with new textures
  • Reworked control system allowing for an even better combat experience
  • Downloadable content to expand the mystery beyond the original game
  • New bonus DLC exclusive to the PC version!
  • Achievements and Steam Trading Cards (exclusive to the Steam version)
