Deep Silver and Animation Arts released today a free two-part comic that shows the events leading up to Secret Files: Sam Peters, a point-and-click adventure game released October 8, 2013.

 

The comic will have readers learn how Max Gruber helped reporter Sam Peters break free of captivity on what was originally believed to be an uninhabited island. The comics can be reached here.

 

In Secret Files: Sam Peters, players control Sam, a journalist sent by her boss to check out Lake Bosumtwi, a mysterious crater lake in Africa. Her goal is to find evidence of the Asanbosam, a human-like species that lurk in the trees at night and take their victims back to their caves to suck their blood. 

 

Secret Files: Same Peters is available for the PC only at this time.
