Ubisoft released into the wild today a new trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that showed the bright side of being a pirate: steal bright and shiny gold things.

 

The trailer reveals a cast of pirates that the assassin will be working with, such as  Ed “Blackbeard” Thatch, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, and Charles Vane. They have their boisterous and colorful personalities and accents, and while we were not around to personally see if these pirates are faithful to their real-life counterparts, they do seem pretty believable (and even likable).

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be releasing on October 29, 2013 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The PlayStation 4 version will arrive on November 15 (with the console’s release), with Xbox One’s version the week after on November 22 (also the same date of the console’s release). The PC version will hit the shelves on November 19.
