So…what is this Ballads of Reemus 2 thing? Well, think Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island. Think hand-drawn, 2D, comedy/fantasy, point-and-click.

Think continuation of 2012’s The Ballads of Remus (which you can purchase or try for free at the JA Store)

And finally, an answer to the burning question: How does the Death Slug invasion that started in 2008 turn out? Well, with your help, the complete saga can finally be told from beginning to end, with full voice acting.

Jay would like to launch the game by June 2014 on Windows, Mac and Linux. He also plans to port the game to all mobile devices. And perhaps best of all, it will be DRM-free.

Reemus 2 is being developed using the Visionaire adventure engine. Daedalic used it for Deponia and Whispered World, among others. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for Jay.

Okay, now… Jay wants to make the game, you want him make the game, and strangers walking down the street probably want him to make the game. So all that’s left to do to get over to Kickstarter and show your support.

The Death Slugs are coming!

I've been with JA in one capacity or other since 2003. I'm currently website administrator. I'm also a digital artist (my avatar is one of my creations). I write reviews and articles, create graphics and basically help tend the site. It's work I enjoy very much. I love playing games of all kinds, but adventure and RPGs are my favorites (particularly scary/dark/unsettling ones). At the top of my list are The Cat Lady, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Still Life (first one only), Scratches and Culpa Innata. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool recluse and prefer the company of animals, hardware and ghosts to human beings (no offense). And no bio would be complete without my saying that I do NOT care for phones of ANY sort. Further, I think Dell computers are garbage and that Microsoft has become megalomaniacal. "I put my heart and soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh "I need solitude for my writing; not like a hermit - that wouldn't be enough - but like a dead man." - Franz Kafka "I've been to hell and back, my boy." - Susan Ashworth, The Cat Lady
