| The instructions indicate that the tank must contain exactly 4 litres of liquid (4/5 full) and that the bucket holds 3 litres of liquid. |
| (a) Begin by opening the top valve (1) to fill the tank (2) – it will contain 5 litres of liquid (b) Click the bucket (3) to place it on the grille (4) under the tank (c) Open the bottom valve (5) to fill the bucket from the tank (d) The bucket will now contain 3 litres of liquid, while 2 litres remain in the tank (e) Don’t pick up the bucket, just click on the drain (6) to empty the bucket (f) The bucket will then automatically return to the grille under the tank (g) Open the bottom valve (5) to release the remaining 2 litres of liquid into the bucket (h) Turn the top valve (1) to again fill the tank with 5 litres of liquid (i) Open the bottom valve (5) to fill the bucket – as it already contains 2 litres, only 1 litre will be released (j) The tank will now contain exactly 4 litres of liquid (k) Finally, press the red button (7) to drain the reservoir |
