Stick fibel cable in autodoc and attach reader to it. Go in autodoc and select Advanced Procedures. Oops - Invalid access code. Get out, grab personal reader and go see Miranda. Talk to her about your problems with autodoc and hand out reader to her for some delicate adjustments. Back to the sickbay and re-attach personal reader to the optical fiber. Get into autodoc and select Advanced Procedures. You should succeed this time. Jump out and grab infodisk from autodoc tray. Take a lift to the bridge and present your invaluable information to kzin. You can take a look at disk's content with (almost) any computer station.
