Aboard the AKI space craft, a space station dedicated to biological research, Laura Lewis is in a deep cryogenic slumber when the ship’s emergency systems activate. She is awakened by a large detonation on her deck, and something of great strength appears to be trying to break free from a door marked E0.

The door is thrown down, the hallway fills with a bright light and a horrific growl, and Laura contacts her crewmate Parker by video phone. She watches in confusion as Parker looks toward his room’s entryway doors, reaches for his gun, and is mutilated by an unseen enemy.

After getting dressed and grabbing her gun, Laura heads out to learn what attacked Parker. As she moves through the ship, her earring-shaped guidance system gives her aural warnings of invisible enemies roaming the corridors. She must fight these enemies, meet up with surviving crew members, and escape the AKI.
